A star-studded Day 2 at the Connecticut Open presented by United Technologies is on tap for Monday, as rising Americans and Grand Slam finalists begin their 2015 campaign in New Haven.

Two-time Grand Slam finalist Genie Bouchard opens the action on Stadium Court at Noon against Roberta Vinci, the Italian qualifier who boasts a combined singles and doubles total of 34 career titles.

Not before 1:30 p.m. American Madison Keys makes her New Haven debut against Elina Svitolina. Keys, who is coached by six-time Connecticut Open finalist Lindsay Davenport, looks to become the latest American to make her stamp in New Haven, but faces a stiff challenge in game Svitolina.

French Open finalist Lucie Safarova makes her second trip to New Haven following a quarterfinals appearance in 2012. The World No. 6 begins her bid against Russian Daria Gavrilova.

The night session begins with a dandy, as World No. 15 Agnieszka Radwanska looks to battle the hard-hitting serves of CoCo Vandeweghe. The nightcap will feature rising Czech star Karolina Pliskova taking on qualifier Polona Hercog.

Matches on the Grandstand feature two seeded stars and last year’s runner-up. No. 8 seed Sara Errani begins play at Noon against Kristina Mladenovic, followed by No. 6 seed Timea Bacsinszky against Caroline Garcia, 2014 runner-up Magdalena Rybarikova versus Flavia Pennetta, and Alize Cornet battling qualifer Yulia Putintseva.
